Pastinak

Kaiser Tiberius ließ sich als Tribut von den Germanen Pastinaken nach Rom liefern. Nicht überliefert ist, ob bloß des Genusses wegen, oder weil er mit deren Hilfe seine schlanke Figur erhalten und seine Potenz fördern wollte.

Die kulinarische Reise führt von ­Pastinakenpesto und Pastinakenchips über getrüffelte Pastinaken­bruschetta und Lammragout, mit Ahornsirup und Bourbon glasierte Pastinaken zu einem saftigen Pastinakenkuchen. Jedes Rezept enthält auch vegetarische und vegane Versionen.
